Noun ২ প্রকার।

১: Countable (গণনা করা যায়) → Singular একবচন → Plural বহুবচন

২: Uncountable (গণনা করা যায় না)

যেমনঃAdvice, homework, Money, Poetry, anger, ignorance, music, poverty, courage, information, news,progress, damage, knowledge, patience, equipment, leisure, permission, fun,luck etc.

বৈশিষ্ট্যঃ
**CN/Countable noun Singular  ও Plural দুটি ই  হতে পারে কিন্তু UN/Uncountable Noun Singular  হয় এবং এর সাথে s/es যুক্ত হয়।
** CN এর আগে Article (a,an,the) এবং Plural Number ব্যবহৃত হয় কিন্তু UN এর আগে তা হয় না।
** Singular CN a/an/the/my... etc ছাড়া একা ব্যবহৃত হয় না।

যেমনঃ
She never wears a hat.
Be careful of the dog.
What a beautiful day!
I have got a headache.

Noun  সম্পর্কিত কিছু Rules :

Rule 1: Plural Number এর পর Plural Countable noun ব্যবহৃত হয়।
[ Number (plural) + Noun (count-plural) ]

-We have twenty dollars left.
-I hope that I can lose about five pounds before summer.
-Several of the people in the class speak three or four languages.
-The temperature has risen ten degrees in two hours.
-The teacher has ordered two books, but they aren't in at the bookstore.
-A desert receives less than twenty-five centimeters of rainfall every year.

Rule 2: Uncountable Noun + Singular Verb →[ UN এর আগে Article /s/es ব্যবহার হয় না]

-Happiness means different things to different people.
-Raha speaks Japanese at home.
-Bread is expensive in the grocery store on the corner.
